Every painting begins without knowing where it will end.

Working intuitively with acrylic, charcoal, spray paint and collage, each canvas develops through layers that are repeatedly concealed, revealed and transformed. The process is one of discovery rather than certainty, allowing each painting to evolve into something that couldn't have been planned from the outset.

Every work begins as fragments—notes, gestures, erased marks and instinctive decisions. Most of what happens during the process is eventually covered over. The finished painting isn't the destination; it's simply the final visible layer of a much longer conversation.
